Coronavirus (Covid-19)

Wearing Mask when Volunteering

Masking on Food Bank Premises

In the United States of America Effective from state to state, Regional Food Bank is implementing a revised COVID-19 masking policy. In accordance with the newest guidelines issued by the County Department of Public Health, it is now optional to wear a mask on-site at Food Bank’s (review listing for specified sites). While wearing a mask is no longer mandated, the volunteers are strongly recommends that they do so. AAHC will continue to monitor COVID-19, and its variants, within the communities. All other policies regarding social distancing remain in effect until further notice. Thank you for your understanding.

If you have any questions please contact Shanika G (Volunteer Director) at info@atranamericahumanity.com

In addition to standard health and sanitation procedures, AAHC has also committed to:

  • Implementing social distancing measures. AACH will ensure appropriate distance is maintained between each volunteer during check-in, orientation, and during the volunteer event.
  • Providing hand sanitizer pumps.
  • Sanitation staff will sanitize the facility regularly both inside and out, meeting room, door frames, restrooms, break room, door handles, and other often touched surfaces.
  • Providing gloves and masks to all volunteers. (https://www.cdc.gov/ebola/media/pdfs/2024/05/poster-how-to-remove-gloves.pdf)

We will also display best practices throughout the event, encouraging everyone to wash their hands for at least twenty seconds and stay 6 feet apart.https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/hcp/vis/vis-statements/COVID-19
